CFC Super Swing

Everyone in Meadville, Cambridge Springs and Buchannan Virginia are to be congratulated for the hard work in achieving customer success to the extent that the customer chose us for this Award. The Award will be posted for everyone to see. It is especially exciting to obtain this Award from ZF after also being chosen by NTN as their Supplier of the Year Award in 2010 and again in 2012.

Six Sigma at MFC Group

The Six Sigma Certification process continues with six (6) Black Belts, three (3) Green Belts, and 40-50 Yellow Belts across functional responsibilities at all locations. Our employees have a project to complete going through the process utilizing the principles of Six Sigma and the DMAIC (Define/Measure/Analyze /Improve/Control) process. Although these projects are at various stages in the DMAIC process, one thing is clear; we have made a difference already.

When you hear, “Show me the data.” during a conversation, you’ll know that this is the trademark of Six Sigma. Generally speaking, decisions for improvement are always based on a thorough understanding and interpretation of the data gathered. The Six Sigma tools taught during the training are being used daily to help us get to root causes and put permanent corrective actions in-place to eliminate waste and reduce variation in our processes.

Our competition doesn’t rest, and neither should we. Through continued commitment and involvement in continuous improvement initiatives, we can and will be the supplier of choice for our customer base.

Meadville Forging Company

For the past several years, Meadville Forging Company and our Cambridge Springs facility participate in an inter-company created Adopt-A-Family program. Every December, the company and employees donate money then purchase and wrap presents for a local deserving family.

In addition, the company and employees raise money throughout the year through various inter-company fundraising activities (such as bake sales and sub sales) for the local chapter of the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life event that is held every summer. Last year over $2,700 was raised. MFC/CNC Relay for Life
